ISI MiniSpec Drying Chill
Posted on: 22/09/2017
See our new video, showing the ISI Miniature spectrometer measure the drying process of a chilli.
As spectrometer technology improves it has become more accessible to a range of markets. Including areas such as agriculture and education. ISI Miniature spectrometer is low cost (<£ 800) and ideally suited to a number of these tasks.
To demonstrate it use ISI have measure the drying process of a chilli.
The chilli was measured over an extended period of time with...

White light correction of Miniature spectrometer
Posted on: 31/05/2017
ISI publish a new article describing the white light calibration and the effect of etaloning on a spectrometer.
The calibration of any spectral measurement system is critical to the performance of the device. In the our latest article, we describe the effect of etaloning with a mini spectrometer. How this can be removed, by using for example a windowless detector and its effect on the data returned by a given instrument.
